I'm not delusional but this most likely is your first experience with me; Greetings! My name is Ayodeji Ekundayo. Everyone calls me AYO

Simply put, I'm a Senior User Experience Designer who is heavily influenced by psychology and found creative freedom in music & photography. That combo is strange, I know, but let's go on.

I'm a son of Nigerian immigrants, with two siblings. I listen to music from numerous countries and usually, often languages I don't understand. Maybe it's because I love exploring other cultures & enjoy traveling.

My design tone finds the best way to offer my personal design language and marry it with the ideas of my clients or team members, to create the most comprehensive collaborative design. I'm currently learning to implement Accessibility (A11y) design; WCAG 2.2 compatibility in my designs as much as possible.

I've learned enough to know that I don't know that much, and this pushes me to strive to study and learn more. You'll find me on a random evening learning about anything from using symmetry, design trends like skeuomorphism/flat/material/neumorphism, or why countries in the Middle East are using engineering to create zero-emission cities of the future. Random, I know. My curiosity helps drive my passion for design, emerging technology, and art.

I have a degree in Psychology and owned a freelance wedding photography business that sustained me through my years during and after college. I played in a band as a bassist for many years & currently looking for a new one, so I don't get too rusty.

I know I love my wife, my two sons, and smoothies.

I know sarcasm is really the only time people tell the truth.

Apparently, I don't know that much. I just know that good research helps define my final prototype and I have an ear for good music (why am I not a DJ?)

I'm a pretty simple man, all I've got is my all & I promise to give you that.

But don't listen to me, we just met.

What do I know?
